People Counter

If you would like to know how many people visit your premises on a daily, weekly or maybe monthly basis then you can use an electronic people counter.

Supplied as either a portable system offering you the flexibility to site it anywhere in any store or as a permanent fixture, our people counters are both high quality and offer accurate recordings at competitive prices.

In order to record the traffic flow it is obviously necessary to ensure that everybody passes between the metering zone. If the zone covers both entry and exit, your total will simply need to be halved in order to arrive at a more accurate figure.

Portable System

This unit gives flexibility of use as it can be sited anywhere in the store and moved from location to location simply by unplugging from the mains power supply.

This is an ideal system should you want to measure the interest of a product line within the store.

With aisle widths of up to 3 metres in between the two upright posts the portable system has the ability to cover a large area.

The facility to accept guide ropes to infill any gaps either side of the unit ensure accurate readings. For premises without a large quantity of spare power sockets a 12v battery powered version can be supplied. Simply charging the battery overnight will ensure that the system provides accurate readings.

The two posts are 1.07m high

Permanent Fixture

Working on exactly the same basis as the portable system, the permanent People Counter is normally placed at a store entrance. A person entering the store and passing the sensor activates the counter, giving a running total.

Where your cash desk is situated in relation to entry gates and guide rails can influence where you install your sensor.

Power supply: 240V ac to 12V dc Mains adapter from a 13A socket.
